Simon

This is Simon the parrot from the Syr. NY zoo. I took this shot on 1-3-12 when I went to the zoo to take pictures for a winter photography contest they are holding. The pictures have to be taken between Jan 2 and the 28th. I didn't really like how my pictures of the animals that were outside in the snow came out so I think I will be going back again tomorrow and see if I can get some worth putting in the contest. I tried to get some good shots of Amani but it was so cold that my eyes was steaming up my camera view finder and I couldn't see what I was taking picture of, then my breath would steam up the lens and the glass that was between me and the tigers so all my shots came out bad that way. But I still have a couple of weeks to get some more shots.
