Desert Sand Cat by cindy1701d Desert Sand Cat by cindy1701d
This is the Desert Sand Cat, at the Syr. NY Zoo. It really is kind of hard to get a good shot of the animals in the building when your trying not to use the flash, as not to upset the animal. Taken 3-8-11.

This is not a house cat. This is a Endangered Species, Area(s) Where Listed As Endangered:
Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East. These are wild cats just like tigers, but alot smaller.

These shots were taken at a zoo:

They are cute, but still wild animals. And thanks to the Gulf War in the early 90's they are now on the Endanger list.

I was kidding. XD Aw, really? That's just sickening. It seems like most of the truly beautiful animals in the world are either endangered or becoming extinct.

They were being killed during the war back then. It really is very sad.

Thanks, I think she is doing very good at it. She likes to do compute paints. But now that I gave her the camera she is doing more with the pictures. She didn't like the pictures she got with her small old camera. :) She spent about 40 mins one the wolfs along at the zoo and about 30 mins alone taking pictures of the snow leopard and I think the tiger was more like a hour. lol But it paid off she got some better shots of them then I did. :) I just can't sit there for that long when there don't doing anything I get so bored. But I am trying. :)

The red glow is the only light in the building that the dark loving animals are in. I took the shot without using the flash so not to bother the sand cats. :)
